Terms and rules
This document, known as the "Terms and Rules", governs your use of altrocity.com and our related resources (collectively "ALTroCITY"). By utilizing ALTroCITY, you agree to be bound by the terms specified in this document, as well as our community guidelines and privacy policy.
ALTroCITY is a community resource originally founded by Aspen Atrocity Ookami (formerly Naia Okami) for individuals who align with alternative subcultures. This includes but is not limited to people involved in the following subcultures: emo, goth, punk, rave, metal, alterhuman, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and more. We aim to provide a safe place for all beings within this umbrella, free from harassment or discrimination of any kind. As such, we have a rules and eligibility requirements for joining and remaining a member of ALTroCITY.
In order to be eligible to register on ALTroCITY, you must be at least sixteen (16) years old. In order to have access to all functionality, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old. ALTroCITY does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, religion (creed), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, genetics, or other protected factors. However, ALTroCITY will not process registration requests from: people identifying as minor-attracted-persons, sex offenders, or individuals previously excluded from our community with good cause. If anyone should meet any of these classifications while already a member of ALTroCITY, they must immediately discontinue utilizing our services.
During your use of ALTroCITY, you agree not to post content that is: libelous, privacy violating, defamatory, abusive, disruptive, obscene, violent, threatening, harassive, or blatantly pornographic. It is also prohibited to post unsolicited advertising material (SPAM). You agree not to take any action that undermines the safety and security of our services, including attempting to bypass or circumvent account restrictions, bans, or other security measures put in-place to protect us.
All content you submit, upload, or otherwise make available to the Service ("Content") may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential.
We may remove or modify any Content submitted at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion. We may terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.
